St Stephen’s Cathedral
The museum and the cathedral are one project
The museum lies beneath the cathedral’s bell tower, on its south side. The cathedral was built in the 19th century; from 1967 until 1991 the regime used it as a sports hall.
After your visit, step inside. The relics of the Blessed Martyrs rest in the small left-hand altar, the Holy Family attributed to Kolë Idromeno returned in 2022, and the wooden altar from Beltoja has stood there since 2023.
